Head teacher's updates

Autumn 2019...

And here we head into another academic year!

All three schools have started this term with positive energy with so many exciting things in place for an interesting and engaging curriculum.

I am busy keeping the Head Teacher's seat warm, whilst our Governors and colleagues at DNEAT search for the next exciting leader for the Federation.  Fingers crossed...

In the mean time, we are supported by Mrs Foreman, an extremely experienced lady who is working across the Federation with me Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.  Also, look out for Mrs Emma Spaul who is our current SENDco and working across the Federation Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

I had the privilege of being at the first Nar Valley Competitive Sports event on Tuesday.  Sporle hosted the ICS Coaching run competition where the three schools sent a team from KS2 to compete.  The weather was a little wet, so our intended football was replaced by handball, followed by dodgeball.  The teams were amazing - such great communication, determination and skills!  All teams played well with a nail-biting finish and Castle Acre just emerging as the champions - well done!

Keep your eyes open for the exciting upcoming events like Harvest Festivals, pizza making, visits to Swaffham Museum, Mayan Days, Poetry Days and of course Fox Class performing at King's Lynn Corn Exchange with their version of Hamlet...!
