We have had such a busy week in Badger Class! Starting off with our trip to Flag Fen on Monday, tag rugby tournament on Thursday and LOTS of great learning in between.
In science this week we were looking at the different teeth we have and their functions, we also began to think about how similar our teeth are to different animals.
In English we have written some lovely recounts of our trip to Flag Fen, and all the exciting things we did whilst there - so many great pieces of work and I am looking forward to seeing them on display outside our class.
In Maths we have continued our learning focus of place value, however this week we have been trying to solve problems and riddles using our knowledge of place value. We have also been using our place value learning to help us in Topic with understanding the chronology of Stone Age and Bronze Age culture.
Topic was great fun as not only did we spend a whole day learning hands on about the Stone Age to Iron Age on Monday, but also on Thursday we were very lucky to have some Stone Age artefacts in class to handle. The children came up with some great questions about their origin and how they may have been used by the Stone Age people.
Phew! Thank goodness it's the weekend, now we can have a rest :-) Well done everyone!
