This is the largest Victorian glasshouse in the world and is home to an internationally important collection of temperate zone plants. Many of the plants housed here are the most rare and endangered in the world. There was even an indoor waterfall!
This glasshouse has only recently reopened after a great restoration project during which an amazing 15 000 panes of glass were replaced and over 5,000 litres of paint was used to make the building look great for another 200 years!
