Better Together

20th june 2018

This week we spent a lot of our time in the wildlife garden looking at all the amazing wildlife our pond has attracted whilst also maintaining the habitat for our creepy crawlies.

In the vegetable garden we were delighted to be able to harvest yet more radishes, and we even had enough to share with parents too!  We planted more tomatoes in the ground, added some sweet peas to the runner bean canes, created a container herb garden and gave everything a good soaking with our watering cans.  We have also taken our greenhouse down for the summer to give us more planting space.

Finally, everyone took home a tomato plant for their garden and some of us also took a pumpkin plant - I feel a competition coming on!
